Eric was an extreme help when it came to our first home buying experience. My fiancé and I were thankful for all his knowledge and insight. He was quick to answer if we had questions. He will be my go to realtor down the road and will always be recommended to friends & family.
Eric was incredible to work with. He didn't try to make a sale but rather made sure the houses we looked at would be right for us. He was very knowledgeable about anything we asked him and was there for us whenever we needed him. He gave us fantastic recommendations for who to work with on our home inspection and loan. This was by far the easiest and most enjoyable realtor experience we've ever had!
Eric was always very responsible, responsive, helpful and courteous. He showed us many homes, always listening to our needs. He wasn’t pushy in any way but we always knew we could count on him when we needed help (related to home buying).

It doesn't get better in terms of customer service and knowledge of both the region and real estate market. Eric's support made us feel so safe in the transaction. Everything from knowing where to look, knowing what to look for (and look out for) in a home, and making sure he advocated for us when dealing with a difficult home builder. My wife and I are highly detailed people and he was able to raise the bar every step of the process. Amazing at his job and constantly made sure he was proactively taking care of us and keeping us from making any boneheaded decisions. Eric was an A+ in helping us close on a previous home as well, and unless he leaves the industry, there's no chance we would work with anyone else. (Side note - I would hire Eric into pretty much any company I worked for if he ever did want to leave real estate. Any customer he would work with would be lucky.)
Eric truly goes above and beyond. I cannot recommend him enough. We were out-of-towners with a small window to get into a rental, and he pulled through. He knew the neighbors and found us exactly what we were looking for. He even reviewed the contract for us. When it was time to buy, Eric was the deciding factor in our winning bid. There were multiple offers but ours was selected because of Eric's guidance. This market is very competitive, and Eric knew exactly what we needed to do to get into our house. Thanks, Eric! After weeks of unfavorable internet searches, my wife and I walked into the Re/Max office and were fortunate to be introduced to Eric Lumsden, and within a month we were living in our new home. When Eric helped us buy our house I felt like I actually had a realtor representing me - actually being my agent. I actually felt like a Buyer this time, not a means to a commission. He kept an eye on the documents as they came in and was ahead of weird stuff before I was. I'd call him, and he was already getting to the bottom of things. Eric is knowledgeable, and capable - involved throughout the purchase process. Despite significant stress at the time, he made the house purchase actually possible, and amazingly straightforward. It has been almost a year since Eric helped us buy this house. I keep remembering I should leave a strong recommendation here - his performance was so amazing it comes to mind fairly option. This is the second home we bought, and my experience with Eric was vastly superior to my experience with my past realtors. He really thinks of others' priorities more than his own. Eric even suggested a slightly smaller offer when we bought this house, and he was probably right - when does a realtor ever do that? - Still amazed. I remember his communications skills were very effective, and adaptable to everyone in the purchase process, ranging from the kids, to my wife, to the sellers, to the sellers realtor, to the mortgage broker, to the title company. He even gave us a cool gift after the house sale, totally from the kindness of his heart. We occasionally think of moving to a larger property, or joining the landlord business. We aren't looking for a realtor anymore - Eric's our first choice. I strongly recommend Eric to anyone who's looking for a realtor who will represent their interests - he'll do a wonderful job!
