Emily Godrich

We recently asked Emily Godrich to represent us in our house sale. I would happily and highly recommend Emily to any one wishing to sell their home with minimal disruption and maximal return. To be clear we met Emily socially and had already taken her to heart. The decision to use her as our realtor was easy but made better by her complete analysis of our home and how much we should expect to list it for. This was incidentally more than we anticipated. When it came to staging she was direct and clear, and creative in her own staging elements. She brought everything she needed to transform our property from a home to a showroom home. Two very different things. The interruption to our daily routine was minimal, in part due to her clarity in instruction but more over the quickness of the sale. We received a no nonsense bid which we accepted day 3 of listing our home. And when the buyers went from desperate to buy to just plain picky, Emily guided us through the process, protecting us and our assets perfectly. She was our advocate and not just some one looking for a quick sale. I would have no hesitation in asking Emily to help us in the future, should we decide to move again.

Sometimes I hesitate to give 5 stars across the Board because it looks like I am just helping a friend, but I can assure you this is not the case with Emily, although she has now become a friend and we will use her again whenever we need a realtor ! Earlier this year we sold a house. I was hoping we could list it for $400k ( we had paid $320k just a couple of years before). Emily came in and spent a great deal of time helping us get the house and the yard in shape. Her recommendations cost $7k, which she helped supervise, but it was well worth it , as we ended up listing the house for $429k. The best part was we got three offers immediately and sold the house the first weekend for $440k ! She did a wonderful job for us; the whole process was very smooth and profitable too !

Wow she stuck with me for 9 months until we found the right home for me. When we finally found the right one it was set up to be another bidding war but Emily guided me through that, we avoided that, and paid a reasonable price for the right house and I am so thankful for that. She is a pro, so good at what she does. I cannot recommend Emily enough. Thank you Emily.

We have sold a number of homes over the years and we have typically been disappointed with sellers agents. Emily is at the opposite end of the spectrum. We could not have been more pleased with the service she provided. She is extremely professional and very easy to work with. She prefers communicating via text messaging but she always responds quickly. She has lots of great ideas and almost always has a backup plan. Emily is quite adept at negotiating the initial contract as well as the post-contract addendums. While she made sure that we understood all of the pros and cons of the offers, we never felt pressured by her to accept something that we were not comfortable with. I would definitely recommend Emily if you are looking for an extremely qualified and upbeat real estate agent.
