Els was amazing at walking us through each stage of the home-buying process. She listened to what we were looking for, helped us refine our search, and counseled us when we were ready to pull the trigger. She was also very helpful at selling our existing home (in under 5 days!). I definitely recommend her to anyone who is thinking of buying or selling their home.
From Miriam-Webster Real estate agent – Noun : a person in the business of selling land and buildings Obviously Miriam-Webster has not had the good fortune of meeting Els Ferguson. Els was recommended by a mutual friend as we were preparing to sell my Dad’s house in Trenton. My dad, 93, and a retired 30 yr. army veteran of 3 wars was selling his house and moving to be closer to family in Virginia. This was not your typical “put a sign in the yard and wait for the phones to ring” type of real estate transaction. We had no family living in Michigan, which meant that Els had to spearhead an effort to sell a home, not only with absentee ownership, but for a family that had no familiarity with the home sales process in Michigan. Within 30 days, the house was sold! While that sounds easy, none of it could have happened without the Els’ leadership and her extensive network. She took personal ownership of every aspect of the process. She was exceptionally responsive with every phone call, text and e-mail answered quickly. The interactions with the town, buyers, lenders, other agents, and everyone else, to bring the sale to fruition, appeared seamless (I know they weren’t…nothing is easy). Els’ leadership and professionalism cannot be understated. She is fantastic! So how should Miriam-Webster define real estate agent? I loved having Els as my realtor! She was reliable, punctual, and always on top of listings and also made quick appointments to see homes. I am so happy with every thing she did for us. I would definitely recommend her. We did not know much about the home buying process and Els made is easy and explained things very well. She is very knowledgeable with school districts which helped a lot. She gave great feedback and made me feel very comfortable to ask questions.

Els, Els Ferguson was an absolute treat to work with. Although we had many obstacles with the sale of our house, Els ran right over them like they weren’t there. Els listed our house on a Wednesday, and by Sunday, we had 30 showings and 5 offers. The first person that wanted to buy our house had financing fall through 6 days before closing. Els found a new buyer that evening. We went on vacation shortly after the 2nd offer came in and that buyer had financing fall through while we were in Europe. After Els was able to contact us in Europe, she found a 3rd buyer the same day and the 3rd time was the charm. That deal closed and we couldn’t have been happier with our decision in a realtor.
