My home sale was an extreme case. It required of Ellie the utmost diplomacy and courage. To describe my soon-to-be ex spouse as “uncooperative” would be a gross understatement. He was hostile and threatening. Ellie held her poker face. She was amazing through every twist and turn. And there were many. She stayed the course. Other realtors would have thrown in the towel (I went through 2 prior to Ellie). Ellie was a comfort to me during this difficult time. Her experience in challenging sales gave me peace of mind. Her confidence was so reassuring to me. Selling a home is a serious matter. This was a home that we had built ourselves, so there was deep emotional attachment. Ellie’s attention during the many months of the sale-transactions were professional and savvy. She was insightful as to what benefited me. She knows her trade, and I believed in her to advise me in what would result in the best outcome. I’m so grateful for her expertise. Buying and selling homes are emotional endeavors. There needs to be a trust and a confidence in those who facilitate these big events. My feelings about Ellie are summed up in the following; “But the tongue of the wise is a healing”- Proverbs 12:18 Her diverse experience in home sales has made her wise in a market/industry that has multiple up and downs. I would use her again, and recommend her. She became a friend to me, sincerely interested in my well-being.
