We had a very limited time frame and were searching at a time of the year when few new properties tend to go on the market (holiday season!). To boot, we were long-distance transplants, still located half way across the country during the search and closing process. Ellen anticipated every need and move. Helped get to know our taste weeks in advance of the one and only in-town trip we were able to make to search for a house, by providing listings in advance and communicating via email and phone. That meant that the actual visit was one of the most effective and efficient ways to find a house than anyone can wish for. She was flexible, listened to what we needed and wanted, and never pushed an agenda. Also was very helpful with identifying potential help re lenders, insurance, contractors, even helping coordinate with our realtor at the other end -- again, without the least bit of agenda or nepotism. She is a total pro. Whether in a small town like Lincoln or in a big metro area, she is just the kind of realtor home sellers and buyers dream of.
