Ellen is a true professional and we whole-heartedly recommend her (and have done so a few times already!) As we began our search for a new house in New Canaan, we came across Ellen as the listing broker for a house we liked. As we progressed with that house (which we eventually bought), we came to appreciate Ellen's professionalism, local knowledge, and calm demeanor. So much so, that we decided to hire her to sell our house in Stamford. Ellen collaborated with us in preparing our house to sell and spared no expense to make sure the house would show well, including commissioning a 3D virtual tour. To complicate matters, we decided to list our house at the very beginning of the pandemic-related closures in early-mid March. Ellen's approach was very pragmatic, yet adaptable to the current climate. She allayed our fears about selling in that environment and took steps to make sure our family was always comfortable. She was required to negotiate with each of these potential buyers and ultimately we closed fairly quickly with the highest bidder. As with many real estate transactions, there were some bumps along the way (overly zealous inspectors, concerns over buyer qualifications, and questionable buyer requests) and we were very fortunate to have Ellen there to manage those issues as a true professional. In sum, Ellen knows the real estate business and the local markets very well, having lived in many of the towns in which she operates.
