Elisa was a gift from heaven. We were struggling to compete with the hot market in Southern Florida, especially in the beginning of 2022. Houses were selling for thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of dollars, above listing prices. A house would list, and within hours, multiple offers were available for sellers to review. Competition between institutional buyers and private cash buyers seemed impossible for the average family to get into a home. Most realtors we approached claimed our VA loan would not get us in a house, and we would have a better chance with a conventional loan. We disagreed with all of them and began our search for the realtor that could present us to a buyer with the ability to close with us using the VA home loan. We saw a listing and made a telephone call. Elisa answered, she was up for the challenge to present a Veterans Home Loan offer together to a buyer, and we felt confident in her ability to deliver. It was a tough single family home buyers market (especially for veterans using a VA backed home loan). She delivered on everything we requested including the location and features we were looking for in a home. She did not brush us aside, or send us to a conventional lender, as other realtors did (they did not feel comfortable presenting a offer at the time with a Veterans Administration loan), not Elisa.
