We "met" Elaine Heckenkamp randomly through interest in a property on Realtor.com months before relocating to Columbia MO. Because it was random, I absolutely consider it to be a blessing. Before our house hunting trip, Elaine regularly provided information regarding homes on the market and about our new community. She was highly prepared, efficient and very considerate of our time during our house hunting trip. We'd boarded our animals and were eager to get back to them; as a result of her preparedness, we were able to quickly find our home and cut our trip short by a few days. She was present for our new home's inspection and closing, and helped us through several bumps in the road that were completely beyond her control. Our communications with her were handled promptly and thoroughly. My mother has been a realtor since 1979, so my standards are high. Elaine exceeded all of our expectations. We've recommended her at every opportunity, and will continue to do so. She's continued to share information with us even after our move, and I wouldn't hesitate to contact her with any questions about the community. Relocating to a new community can be a very emotional, difficult period of transition. We were so lucky to have Elaine Heckenkamp-she's been more than a realtor. She's been our advocate.
