When we decided to sell our home, we contacted Effie Khaki and she met with us the very next day. We knew nothing about Effie other than she had sold 2 properties for our very close friends and we trusted their recommendation. Effie is extremely efficient. When we met Effie for the first time in our home, we were amazed at the amount of information covered and the progress made. She impressed us with the need to be very accurate on any forms/statements completed to protect ourselves legally. Effie stated that in her 29 years of experience, she has seen some unusual situations which can be prevented with accuracy on all documents signed. Effie is very warm and personable on top of her efficient nature, always ready with a big smile and a sense of humor. Another special touch: She personally hires an excellent photographer ---she knows that pictures sell homes. Throughout the sale process, Effie let us know the status of our progress via text, email, and calls. She informed us of each step accomplished with the listing, offers, escrow, forms to sign, and our next steps after that. She gave sound advice when we sat down to review all offers. Effie worked well with our schedule when we needed to be out of town and used DocuSign effectively. Our buyers requested a very short escrow. Negotiations went swiftly, including our request to rent back to give us time to move out. Our experience with Effie, as sellers, was very positive. We highly recommend Effie Khaki. We would definitely work with her again.
