While we were back in IL, Edgar and Melanie took us on video tours of many houses and neighborhoods; working so hard to find us the "diamond in the rough." By expanding our search area, and keeping their eyes and ears open, Edgar and Melanie helped to find us the perfect home. We found a brand new home with plenty of space to meet our needs. Since we were in IL, Edgar and Melanie arranged to meet with the builder and to provide a video tour of the home that was partially constructed. Working with a builder allowed us to avoid any bidding wars. While we were in IL, Edgar and Melanie kept an eye on the construction process and were there for all of the major construction milestones and inspections. As we made visits to FL, to see the house under construction, Edgar and Melanie were by our side. Having them join us on our new home orientation was a great finale to our home buying process.
Edgar helped us find and purchase our new Florida home even though we were in Wisconsin at the time. When we found homes we were interested in, he set up tours immediately and then sent us detailed videos of the home and neighborhood, with great commentary about the condition and materials used in the home. Not being familiar with the area, Edgar's knowledge and references for services were very valuable and helpful for us.
