In a nutshell, Eddie is what every home buyer wants in an agent: honesty, integrity, patience, understanding, and tenacity. We had a bad experience with an aggressive agent from our neighborhood who was quite obviously colluding with other agents to drive up prices in our area (she was a sell-side agent who was 'doing us a favor' to work on the buy side for us). I was thoroughly disgusted with her unethical behavior, as she pushed us several times to offer more than a property was worth and more than we could afford. When we refused, she suggested that we look in Oakland, putting us down for being normal people who don't have trust funds. When we fired her and hired Eddie, our search for a place close to our old neighborhood that we could afford suddenly became much easier. Eddie was respectful of our limits and never once pushed us to go beyond our comfort zone. He went out of his way to make sure the timing of our offer was strategically beneficial to us, and we ended up with a lovely property with great bones in a neighborhood that suits us well.
