We are out state buyers and needed to find a home we could rent for a few years and then make it our retirement home. We only knew we liked the Gulf coast areas and wanted a larger waterfront, within a price range, with a view and in excellent shape. We also had a short window of time to find one during a 1 week trip. Drake Bliss and Doug Winterbauer with Aterra Realty Associates worked together. tirelessly setting up and showing us almost 60 homes from St. Pete to Bradenton to Cape Coral. We reviewed many neighborhoods and local issues. We discussed pro's and con's. And we finally found a home in Punta Gorda, that met the criteria. With their help, we negotiated a very good deal and a month later on a 2nd trip, we purchased it. All this in the span of 2 months and only two trips. My wife and I are very satisfied and appreciative of the extra efforts Drake and Doug went through to make sure we looked at all options and found what we wanted.
