Dr. Melissa Chester (fondly known as Doc) is professionally trained as a college professor and taught on the collegiate level for over fifteen years before entering the field of real estate. She taught at FAMU, FSU, Grambling State University (GSU), and University of North Florida (UNF). She entered real estate because of a life altering situation involving her mother. Her mother was displaced after renting the same home for over twenty-seven years due to the owners not paying the property taxes. Since entering the real estate field in March of 2016, she has become a Florida licensed instructor (April 2017), and is the lead instructor for Premier Coast Real Estate School; became the managing broker for their Daytona Beach and Orlando offices (October 2018); and is currently obtaining her broker's license in Georgia and North Carolina.
Dr. Chester is the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB) local board President for Jacksonville, FL. She is married to Dr. Albert Chester II, a candidate for US Congress 5th Congressional District. They have two sons, Aiden and Alex.
