As President of RE/MAX Commercial Alliance, Doug manages a variety of real estate transactions, from large development deals to quick leases. His extensive background includes roles such as CCIM Regional Vice President for Region 3 and President of CO/WY CCIM, enriching his industry knowledge.
After his service in the Army, Doug began his real estate career in 2000 by investing in properties and soon earned his broker’s license with RE/MAX Alliance in 2001. Initially focusing on residential real estate, he later expanded into commercial transactions and deepened his expertise in investment properties. He earned a master’s degree in real estate from the University of Denver in 2014 and became a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) in 2016. He is constantly advancing his skills to better serve his clients and the real estate community.
Doug will tell you; his favorite type of real estate is investment property. He enjoys the analysis and financial evaluation of properties, and his passion for it shows in the way he evaluates each property. He brings his clients a great value proposition through the universal financial language that follows every site or transaction.
His corporate background includes roles at major companies like Vail Resorts, Dish Network, Oncure Medical, and Xcel Energy. This experience enhances his ability to understand business needs and guide corporate leaders through complex decisions regarding leasing, ownership, and acquisition strategies using a detailed analytical approach.
Outside of work, Doug enjoys spending time with his wife and two school-aged children, engaging with extended family and friends in the Denver area.
