My family came across Dory when she was selling a house in my daughter's neighborhood. Even though my daughter and her husband were just being "looky-loos", Dory was so friendly and had such a professional demeanor they took her card.... just in case! Well, fast forward to this year and *I* was the one looking to find a new home in Santa Clarita. My daughter knew that Dory would be the perfect person to work with me. I am elderly and recently widowed, so this process of finding and purchasing a home was pretty intimidating. Dory was absolutely wonderful to work with. She is a great listener and she made sure she understand what my needs were and what I was looking for. She met me and my daughter so we could look at some properties, just so I could see what the process was like. She was easy to communicate with and was able to answer any of my questions at all times. When it was time to fill out escrow paperwork, she made sure I understood everything I was signing and took the mystery and intimidation out of the process, and if there were ANY problems she made sure I didn't have a moment of worry. We found my absolute favorite place to live - it exceeded what I had hoped to find. I am so grateful to Dory and highly, highly recommend her.

Dory is an awesome realtor. She gave us great advice about how to get our home ready to sell, and yet she was always totally understanding about our opinions and preferences, never pushy. Her ideas were spot on, and they made our house much more attractive and sellable, for a much higher asking price than we had initially thought we could ask. She helped us find the materials (like flooring, paint) and workers and installers, and helped us pick out colors and styles, and the result was beautiful. The photos she had done really showed how nice the house looks. She did all of this while we were very far away, as we no longer live in the area and had been renting out the house. She oversaw all the prep work, she was there at the house often, and this during the COVID pandemic! She listed the house in so many places, and we got buyers immediately. The house was sold so fast, and for quite a bit more than we had asked for when we tried, unsuccessfully, to sell the house before (not with Dory as our realtor, that time). And then, she continued to work hard through the escrow process managing various repair issues that came up, dealing with the professionals who came out to fix things up for the new owners. It was a lot of work to oversee, particularly because we were distant and she is in the area, but she oversaw all of it and everything got inspected, repaired, resolved, so the escrow closed as expected and everyone was so happy with the sale- the buyers, us, everyone. Dory is a real pro. And also, she's really nice, really patient, really down to earth, just a lovely person to work with.
