Doreen is highly qualified in every aspect of the real estate business. She is professional, yet warm. She keeps you well informed of everything happening, and guides you through every step. She stays on top of all of the paperwork. She understands and communicates all of the rules about real estate. She is very artistic and knows how to make great suggestions for home decorating designs. We have used her two times now and selecting a home, and both times she she has performed with great excellence, and represented us so well.

From the first meeting Doreen was completely prepared with all comps and strategies to sell our home! Her dedication and hard work closed the sale within 29 days, and her care along the way gave us the comfort we needed in selling our home of 33 years. Doreen worked very hard for us. From the beginning of the process she was knowledgeable and reliable. She thought of all of the details through the whole process and thought of things we would never have thought of. She was courteous but properly assertive in working out the negotiations with the loan officer, the other agent and the owner. We so appreciated how she constantly updated us and keep us in the loop. In Oct 2019 I needed to make another real estate transaction that involved investment property and again called on Doreen to help me. It was a fairly complicated process involving a 1031 exchange and investment property financing. Once again, Doreen was a great help to me. She provided me with resources who could guide me through the process to ensure I did everything correctly. When it came to purchasing the new property, Doreen was willing to drive to the town I was considering (quite a ways out of her regular neighborhood) to show me houses. As always, she gave me great guidance and advice on the quality of the various properties available. Once the property was selected, Doreen did her usual extremely thorough work and follow-up to ensure everything was done correctly and on time. She tracks the schedule of things that need to be done and keeps everyone informed. I am so happy that I chose Doreen Gorans to help me sell my home in Happy Valley. I live out of state so I needed someone who would be willing to handle some of the details I wouldn't be able to - like letting inspectors and contractors in, getting bids for repairs, etc. First and foremost, Doreen is a great communicator. She takes the time upfront to get to know you and understand your goals and limitations. She is very familiar with the area and the current market. She gives you objective information about your house, suggests various options and lets you decide the best course of action. She updates the info as the market changes. Doreen makes the extra effort to contact brokers who have shown the house and gets their feedback. She has been in constant contact with me, keeping me updated every step of the way. Doreen does what it takes to get the house sold. She was willing to go to the property frequently and ensure everything looked as good as possible. She's great at staging - knowing when to put in a few key touches without overdoing it. She went above and beyond, replacing some drapes and lights and even doing minor wall repair. Being an out-of-state seller this meant a lot to me. She did a lot of extra work in arranging for various contractors to come to the house to do repairs. Doreen is a skilled negotiator. She worked tirelessly on my behalf. I feel like I got the best possible price for my house and am very grateful for Doreen's work. I am looking forward to being able to use her services again when I'm ready to buy another house.
