Donna Starks

We were so lucky to find Donna Starks as our realtor in California, having lived on Maui for almost 20 years. She kept in touch with me for at least a year until we were ready to move, sending me photos of suitable homes for our needs. I came back to California in the middle of April this year on my own, as my husband was unwell. Time was of the essence, and Donna had arranged to view 15 houses that fit our criteria. I had two friends with me and they were amazed at what she had done, Needless to say I was most impressed. Donna is not only an excellent listener about your needs, she is at least 5 steaps ahead of any questions you might have. She always follows up with you-you never have to chase her for answers. I bought the PERFECT home on the second day, thanks to Donna, and I will be forever in her debt. Not only is she a first class realtor, she is professional, knowledgeable funny, gracious and charming. She is the BEST realtor we have ever had, and we’ve bought and sold 8 houses. Five stars do not do her hard work justice. If I could I would give her 100. My husband and I are both in California now, and he is delighted with the house and very impressed with Donna, as were my friends. I would recommend her to anyone wanting to buy s house anywhere!

Donna helped us purchase our home in the Glen Park neighborhood of San Francisco. She worked with us every weekend for 3.5 months until we found our dream home with everything we were looking for! People told us it would take at least 6 months, but was quicker with Donna. Donna is very reliable and responsible, looking at 7-10 homes with us every Sunday. She is professional, organized and efficient, not to mention she is probably the nicest real estate agent you will ever meet! She kept us promptly updated on the status of all our 5 offers. Donna was also very adaptable and we changed our specifics for a home and narrowed down our wanted location. She also has great negotiation skills and is the absolute reason we got our home in the highly competitive SF market! We only paid 61K above asking because we (and Donna) felt the list price was very fair and we were able to swoop in before all the other offers, which is a pretty rare opportunity that was recognized by Donna. I don't have enough great things to say about our experience using Donna as our realtor - definitely a 5 star experience!!

Donna actually picked this home out for us after meeting her and looking at several homes already. The process was challenging on a couple of different fronts, but Donna guided us through and helped us get into our first home.
