Donna is an absolute professional. She was there at every step along the way, making sure everything was going smoothly. She goes above and beyond the average real estate agent, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to sell or purchase a home. Exceptional!
Donna went above and beyond our expectations in providing a very knowledgeable, patient, and excellent experience when looking for a home in central Florida. She listened to what we were looking for in a home in regard to location, neighborhood setting, house footprint, price, etc. She was very good at quieting me when I began to feel stressed thru encouragement and knowledge. She watched over the house before we moved in (from out of state), she helped the flooring company to access the house, checked on the hot tub and pool, even loaned us a few items that enabled me to paint and cook until our belongings finally arrived. Her continued sincere and kind attitude together with her knowledge of the real estate market have been greatly appreciated. She was never pushy and I found her to be a likeable person.
Donna was personable and responsive. She even helped up find a rental. Things went south when the communication regarding our appraisal came in low and she didn't communicate it for 5 days. I asked for a copy of the appraisal and never received it which left a bitter taste. She said as the seller I'm not entitled to get a copy of the report. I sold the house for 50k less than asking without ever seeing the appraisal. Documentation beat conversation. As a first time seller I learned a valuable lesson. When I requested a 2nd appraisal I was told that illegal. On a brighter note In order to close the deal Donna reduced her commission 2 times which was a big sacrifice on her part. I would still like to get a copy of the appraisal.
Donna is a gem, its easy to tell right off that she will be helpful, attentive, and will not leave you hanging without an answer on most any issue, but until you've seen her go that extra mile, time and time again do you realize that you've struck realtor gold. I won't go into detail on all the things she has done through the years... (going on 7 or 8 but who counts?) just to make sure that her client is happy... or gets what they are after. Before we even met, Donna put together a 9 house, house hunting tour that put her over an hour outside of her territory, and I didn't even have to talk her into it (from start to finish if you never stopped, this was about 130 miles from the first house to the last). I could give you at least 6 more totally out of her way things she has done but this review would be too long. I can not thank her enough for the things that she does and they are really (in my opinion)just things that she would do because she is that type of person.. We love you Donna
