We have been working with Donavan on relocating to the El Dorado Hills - Loomis - Auburn area for more than two years. Donavan has been very patient with us, demonstrated considerable and helpful knowledge about the region, and was always honest about what to expect, good or bad. He has consistently followed up on all our requests, which were many and sometimes tedious. We are particularly appreciative of his efforts to help us push past barriers in gaining membership to the Serrano CC when we were under contract for the house on Greenview Drive. The transactions and logistics of purchasing the house have thus far gone smoothly, although the steady stream of DocuSign documents that came in to review got a little tiring at times. All in all, Donavan was punctual, competent, and trustworthy in all our interactions with him. I would recommend him to friends and family should they need any realtor services in the area. In anticipation of answering the question that follows regarding the final price of the property, we wound up paying list price for the house and our expectations for doing so were set by the seller's realtors. We knew the house was recently under contract at a higher price than we paid and that fell through, but we also saw that according to Zillow we were paying at the high end of their estimated range and about $90,000 over the median price for comparable homes. Fortuately we were able to make up some ground by requesting the sellers leave some decorative items behind as part of the sale. We also saw that the sellers were diligent about making repairs that were called out as needed by the inspectors. So all in all I think we got a fair deal, not a great deal.
Donavan Moore is a true real estate professional who I would use again to represent me in buying or selling real estate. His attention to details and making the marketing / sales process very seamless to me was extremely helpful. He was able to generate multiple offers and analyze the best one to accept. He also has a background and licenses in residential construction. These skills and credentials were helpful after reading the buyers inspections reports and deciding courses of action.
