To stay that Don is a fantastic broker would be an understatement. He shone at every task one would expect, but also went above and beyond in helping us sell our (very hard to sell) home. After sitting on the market for over a year, we brought in Don, and he not only gave us invaluable advice (he's very knowledgeable about local zoning and related issues), but was hands on in helping us accomplish the many steps we eventually needed to take to get the city to allow us to rezone and potentially demo our historical (but ultimately unsalvageable) home. He brought in his personal (excellent) contacts and then oversaw inspections, necessary landscaping and engineering jobs, personally met with city staff members, spoke with architects about a number of relevant issues, and took on many other more mundane tasks - more than once, we met Don on our property (which we were no longer living in) and found that he'd picked up trash, swept our floors, and done related staging type tasks. Throughout the process, he kept us apprised of every happening and potential offer (we were often in daily contact). It's no exaggeration to say that I'm not sure that anyone other than Don could have sold our property. As an added bonus, Don was a joy to work with- he's smart and caring and has a wonderful laid-back sense of humor. As should be evident by my comments, I recommend Don wholeheartedly and without reservation.

In a dynamic market with values unsettled due to increasing interest rates, we were thankful to have a seasoned agent who had been through these challenges in the past. Prices were starting to move downward from their highs and we tested the market initially with what was the best information available at the time based on the competitive market assessment Don provided. After many views and an open house during the first week, there were no offers. Don suggested we make a slight reduction in the price in order to attract a wider audience as interest rates continued to climb. Within several days, we had several serious prospective buyers considering the property and soon received a clean, full priced offer with no contingencies. Don kept us well informed through the process and was on top of every aspect of coordinating document flow with the buyers and the title company.
