About Don

I am the Managing Broker for ARC Realty's Elmore County Office, where I provide daily leadership and support to our agents with a focus on retention, recruiting, and business planning. I work closely with Montgomery Broker Norman Schlemmer and the ARC Realty staff to ensure our agents receive prompt, accurate assistance with all real estate-related questions. I have lived in the Montgomery River Region for most of my life and consider myself incredibly fortunate to serve the community where I was raised. I graduated from Huntingdon College in Montgomery on a baseball scholarship, earning a degree in Business Management. I later completed a master's degree in Secondary Education at Troy State University and earned my teaching certification at Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM). I began my real estate career in 1987 and am now in my 40th year in the business. In recognition of this milestone, I am on track to obtain REALTOR® Emeritus status. I have proudly served as the Managing Broker for ARC Realty's Elmore County Office since 2002 and have been deeply involved in the long-term growth and development of our office and agents. I am a former President of the Montgomery Association of Realtors and have served for many years on numerous committees for both the Multiple Listing Service Board of Directors and the Association Board of Directors. These roles have allowed me to contribute to the leadership, governance, and continued improvement of our local real estate community. In addition to my brokerage leadership, I oversee ARC Realty's ongoing training programs, including Momentum Mondays, ARC After Hours on Wednesdays, ARC Workshop Training on Thursdays, and a variety of continuing education courses designed to support agents at every stage of their careers. I serve clients throughout Wetumpka, Prattville, Millbrook, Montgomery, Lake Jordan, Lake Martin, and surrounding areas, offering guidance in both residential and commercial real estate. From our first conversation through closing, my goal is to provide steady guidance, clear communication, and trusted advice every step of the way.
