Sell of Mother's House

When my mother had to go into a Skilled Nursing facility, the time had come to sell her house in order to help pay for her ongoing care. Dixie Waters had helped sell my grandmother's house almost 20 years before under similar circumstances. Just as we started the paperwork process to place the house on the market, my mother died unexpectedly. Obviously, this threw a monkey-wrench in the process. Dixie was exceptionally caring, informative in guiding us through the process and always professional. Dixie did quite a bit of market research and shared the data and her opinion on what we should list the house for and what to expect the process to look like. She was right on the nose! From the ongoing communication to myself and the buying agents she was not only professional, but caring for all parties involved. I'd highly recommend working with Dixie. If she hasn't retired in 8-10 years from now, I'll ask her to be our Seller's Agent when we place our home on the market in order to move toward a retirement community ourselves.
