Dick Barr

Right from the first phone call we had a great experience, he answered all of our questions and as a first time home buyer I had a lot. He worked around our schedule to see houses, and when we went to see them he had a really good eye for detail. We got our dream home and got a very good deal on it and couldn't be happier. We have already recommended him to family and friends, and if we ever decided to sell/buy in the future he would be my first phone call.

Ted and Kaitlyn writes: We purchased our first home with Dick's assistance back in October of 2015. From the very beginning he was friendly and approachable. Dick was also very knowledgable about the areas we were looking at. He walked us through some of the things we should and should not worry about as first time home buyers. When we first spoke with Dick we were looking for an older home on a large plot, Dick suggested that we might also want to look at some town homes as they could be a good fit for us. We initially were against buying a town home but after we looked at a few we really liked we decided that would be a good fit for us. Dick was also knowledgable about government programs for first time home buyers, if it wasn't for Dick we would have missed out on 5,000 of interest free money. The one area of improvement I would reccomend for Dick is further evaluating his mortgage broker partners he works with. We worked with a mortgage broker company Dick recommended called MidWest Equity that we did not have a positive experience with. Although we had a bad experience with MidWest Equity Dick handled the situation well and overall we had a positive experience with him and we would recommend him to others.
