Devin was an AWESOME realtor for the sale of our home. He provided a FREE assessment of the market value our home and then REFINED it with a walk-through. The listing price he RECOMMENDED was a bit lower then we had hoped, but he INDICATED that listing at that price would ENABLE us to forego fixing the fence, replacing carpeting, and repainting the interior walls. This not only ENABLED us to get the house on the market QUICKLY, it also LIMITED our out of pocket costs. He recommended performing some MINOR cleanup. Once that was done, he had our home on the market the VERY NEXT DAY, which was INCREDIBLE. Five potential buyers looked at the home in the next TWO DAYS and we were under contract WITHIN A WEEK! Best of ALL the sales price MATCHED our ORIGINAL expectations without requiring an outlay of cash on our part to fix the fence, replace carpeting, and repaint the interior walls. Devon’s EXPERTISE at negotiating with the buyer realtor was EVIDENT a number of times. This SAVED us money and got us through the process QUICKLY. I met Devin about year and half ago through some online ad I saw. He was nice and not pushy which was great, and offered to send me listing since I didn't want to be bombarded which I was upfront with. We kept in contact over time he would check in but I never felt I was being upsold, pushed, or anything. We started over a year later started looking and he drove from SLC every time to come with us to see a house even in traffic. He was great, communications was on point even at like 11:30pm at night he would respond. Then I found a listing that wasn't even one of his but the sellers didn't want a realtor but Devin was so nice he was still willing to help us out on our end. But I was adamant having gotten to know him that I would not do it without him and was I right. Him with our financial officer (Vicky) were the dream team to answer all our question and really walk us through our options and why they are doing things they way they are, instead of just using lingo or making decisions for us. They really fought for us and when it came time for documents, legal, finances, and working with sellers, banks, and such, I cannot stress how much they really were on point with deadlines, walking us through, reminders, tips and tricks. They really made it easy and got good seller concessions that I never would have thought of and now that we closed has come a long way! Getting a house is an investment but also choosing your realtor, financial officer is also an investment and can be a good friend and both are exactly that.
