Devi Clinton represented me in both the selling of my old house and the buying of my new one. Many real estate agents are knowledgeable, responsive, and skillful -- and Devi certainly is, as indicated by my star ratings -- but beyond this, she is a master at managing the psychological process. Selling and buying both involve psychological roller coasters. In my case, the process lasted almost a year, largely because I had a lot of work to do to get my house ready for market. I felt overwhelmed -- almost to the point of paralysis -- at the beginning by the thousand-and-one details I knew had to be handled. Devi very skillfully doled these tasks out to me in manageable, step-by-step chunks. She checked in with me, encouraged me, gave me reliable and affordable referrals for work I needed done, and always kept the big picture in front of me. She also helped me navigate the highs and lows of offers, counter-offers, the actual selling process, and I walked away with a great deal. (I give myself a little credit for following directions!)On the buying side, she continually reassured me that the perfect house would come along when I was finally in a position to move on it -- and so it did -- and she came up with a winning strategy in a competitive bidding situation (despite being out of town at a very intensive conference). I can't say enough good things about Devi, and I wholeheartedly recommend her.
