Being new to Hampstead NC, we found working with Denise extremely helpful. Denise clearly knows the local real estate market quite well. Beyond that, having lived in the area her whole life, she was able to share a wealth of knowledge on topics of interest to us. Things like marinas, boat ramps, traffic patterns, local restaurants, activities, shopping, and the like. And as newly arrived "halfbacks" (the local term for people from up north who moved to FL and are now here), Denise was excellent at providing key information that might not be familiar to non-locals. It's clear that she's worked with many people new the the area and is able to provide answers to questions not-yet-asked (and likely not-yet-thought-of). Denise listened and was quick to understand what was truly important to us vs the just-nice-to-haves. She did a great job finding & showing us listings that met our criteria and, for the properties that we chose not to pursue, she was quick to understand our reasons/thinking & factor that moving forward. She never tried to "hype" things that weren't important to us. And, on that occasion or two that we might have gotten a little caught-up on something that wasn't in our "core" criteria (something most buyers are want to do along the way), she didn't hesitate to point that out. Finally, we never felt a hint of pressure to commit to anything (despite the hot market). Only when specifically asked did she provide her thoughts about something like how quickly a particular property might sell. As stated in the title, Denise is a knowledgeable, professional, no-pressure, hard-working real-estate agent and we highly recommend her.
