We have known Denise for 6 years now. She first helped us to buy our first home in Denver. I remember Denise drove me around showing me different neighborhoods South of Denver. I think we saw over 20 homes in about 2 weeks. Coming from a different state and different house styles, I was learning about basements, humidifiers, different builders, etc. Denise had a lot of patience with me, and she always went above and beyond my expectations to answer any questions or concerns. We purchased our first home in Castle Pines, Co. It was such a wonderful experience, very easy to work with, always available to answer our phone calls, and if she was not available she always called us back right away. My husband and me have purchased and sold several homes in our 32 years of marriage. We have moved a lot because of my husband’s job. We have worked with many realtors and Denise is just not an amazing very profesional real estate agent, she became our friend. Her people’s skills and manners to treat customers make her simply the best! We have not worked with another person like Denise. Buying and selling a home can be very stressful but working with Denise you know that she is really working hard for YOU. It’s not about her commission and a pay check. For Denise her customers are very important and she makes you feel it. After a few years in Denver we had to sell our home in Castle Pines and we called Denise. Our house got multiple offers the open house weekend. It was fantastic, we had to work with Denise and her team to prep the house for the open house and it all paid off, we sold our home FAST, and we moved back to Texas. After a couple of years and my husband and I really missed Denver. So we called Denise and she helped us again with the purchase of our townhome. The experience was very unique because we were in Texas and she was helping us long distance and in a different time zone. During the sales process of our longtime family home, Denise's efforts were truly above and beyond expectation. Due to some complicating factors including having to coordinate from outside the area, we needed to leverage Denise's network of local service providers and take her up on her generous offer to coordinate activities on the ground. A few years ago, I found Denise Marcum when I was trying to buy a house for my daughters family. It was a sellers market. Every time I made an offer, someone came in with cash and bumped me. Made on offer on the house we wanted, and fully expected to lose out. Denise wrote a letter to the sellers explaining our situation, and how much we hoped they would seriously consider our offer, even though we didn't have cash. After Denise made our case, they accepted our offer. The purchase went off without a hitch. At least for us. Denise took care of everything. I was in California the whole time. This year, we sold the house, and of course Denise was our listing agent. My daughter and her family already moved out, and I was in California, and couldn't make it out. She got me a great offer, much more than I was asking. And once again... the whole process went smooth as butter. Denise had to take care of EVERYTHING while I was here. She made frequent trips to the house, and met with inspectors, and repair and maintenance crews. I've heard that buying and selling houses is one of the most stressful things you can do. Not so with Denise. It was fun. She deserved more than she made on sale. 5 stars isn't enough.
We met Denise at an open house for one of her listings and instantly connected with her! We appreciated how open and genuine she was without pushing contracts and having a “sales pitch.” The next day, we called her and asked her to help us find a home! After many showings and tours of various neighborhoods, she found us a home! In fact, we purchased the home without seeing it first and had full trust in Denise to have an eye for detail when walking the homes and previewing for us. She is an expert negotiator and all in all, saved us a significant amount of money… all while in a “sellers’ market.” She was on the phone with contractors, sewer line techs, structural engineers etc. nonstop to make sure we were getting the home in its best form!
