Delora knows all the tricks and worked extremely hard for us - she was in constant contact, always pushed to get us the best possible price, and her instincts and experience served us very well when the house we wanted turned out to be very competitive. But what really set her apart was how much she cared for us as people, not just clients: she didn't just let us bring her a house we liked and help us get it, but she took the time to talk with us, over multiple sessions, and helped us figure out what we actually wanted in a house. As first-time house buyers (and extremely curious people overall) she spent a lot of time explaining the processes, why we were doing things, and how we could make the best at each step along the way. But the biggest thing of all was that when the sale was made, all the papers were signed, and we were moving in, we found that one aspect of the contract (a repair the previous owners agreed to make) hadn't been executed correctly and the inspector missed it on his follow up. The deal was made and Delora's job was done, legally it was my responsibility now, but when I called to talk about it she got it taken care of at no cost to me and with no fighting or coordinating the work or any other effort on my part. There are a lot of skilled agents, Delora included, that will get you a great deal. What makes Delora special is that she doesn’t stop at just making the deal: even when the job is done and she's made her sale, she'll still care that you're happy in your home.
