Selling a house is stressful, but having a great agent to lead you through the process makes it easier. For our first appointment, Debbie arrived with "comps" for our area. We walked through our house and so we had a basis for comparison for the "comps." We reviewed our house, and she suggested a starting point for the price, some minor changes for staging for an open house, and the timeline for selling our house to coincide with our out of state move. Prior to listing the house, she explained the appointment process, so we knew how to accept/confirm appointments. We followed her plan for listing on a Friday, and an open house on Saturday. Debbie was present during the open house, so she was able to answer questions about our house and keep an eye on our personal property. In addition, there were numerous appointments throughout the weekend. The market being what it is we had several offers to review on Monday morning. She brought all offers to us and reviewed each offer. She answered all of our questions regarding the offers so we could make the choice that was best for our situation. From that point she kept us informed about dates/times for inspections, gave us a text or call about documents that would be arriving via email for required information and signatures, gave us options for settlement (pre-signing or being present), and communicated any updates or changes along the way. I asked Debbie to act as my sales agent when I decided to sell my house at 2617 Ebony Road. The tenant who had been renting my house left the middle of this May. I was very anxious to sell the house ASAP due to the pending future increases in mortgage rates. Debbie was extremely helpful.
