Almost all agents say the same thing, but what was refreshing about Deb was she pointed us to the things we--as the homeowners--could do in order for her to attract the best offer on our property. She was not timid about guiding us about what we needed to do, but she was also the first agent I have ever had who came to our home on a Sunday and began moving our existing furniture around herself to arrive at the best staging. When she was done, my wife and I were surprised at how much better it looked. That added value. She has a design background, so I was tasked with replacing all the electrical outlet covers and replacing all the door locks with inexpensive but more modern looking door knobs that she sourced for us. I also liked that when Deb hosted our Open House, she was dressed impeccably. My point here is that if she did not present well, our home would not present well. I was proud that we had someone that classy representing our home. After we accepted the buyer's offer, she did not disappear. She continued to represent our interests throughout the remainder of the process as evidenced by us not giving back a penny on home inspection demands.
