Tenacious Debbie thats my nickname for her! Look I'm not a fan of brokers or the real estate process. Having bought and sold numerous properties during my lifetime I think brokers just get in the way quite frankly. While Debbie did not change that for me she was tenacious and showed me that brokers do work hard and can add value. I came in from out-of-state and Debbie spent alot of time with me showing me around the areas i wanted to be. She was well prepared for the day. In fact, one day we went well into the evening looking at places...she just would not quit. On one occasion we pulled up at a prospect and parked in front of us was a contractor's truck. Since alot of the properties we saw needed work Debbie said "Hey, lets go in and see if we can talk to the contractor". The garage was open so we walked in. Not only did we speak with the contractor but also the owner who gave us some "scoop" on the unit above him that we were going to see. We befriended the contractor and invited him out the following day to join us as we saw more property and he accepted. This proved to be a great asset for us. I credit Debbie for being savvy, tenancious, and street smart in this approach. I think it was a good idea. Again, while Debbie did not change my mind she did ultimately find me a great property in south Florida. If you're thinking of moving into this area (south Florida) I can't recommend Debbie enough...her tenacity and street smarts will win the day for sure. Good luck!!!

Honestly, I'm not high on the entire real estate process having bought and sold several properties during my life. While Debbie did not change that she certainly renewed my hope that there are brokers out there that are professional, prepared, and earn their commissions. I came from out of town so while familiar with the area Debbie had to plan several days together showing me numerous units. She did a great job planning the visits and really honed in on what I was looking for. One day I think we were out until 10pm going to different locations. In fact, that same night we saw a unit later in the evening and when we pulled up a contractor's truck was parked in front. As many of the units we were seeing needed some type of work she suggested we walk into the unit that was being worked on and engage the contractor. I thought this was very resourceful of Debbie. It turned out the owner's along with the contractor were present so we were able to engage both parties and got an endorsement from the owners. We invited the contractor to come out with us the following day and see several units. He accepted and spent an entire day with Debbie and I looking at units and providing general estimates. I thought this was great. I am actually considering using the contractor to do work in my unit. Having spent alot of windshield time with Debbie I enjoyed her company and found her to be a very pleasant and an interesting person so I did enjoy our time together. Debbie worked tirelessly with me (which is not an easy task) to find me the right property and did a good job in negotiating the best price. Overall, I can't say enough good things about Debbie as a person and a real estate professional. If you have the opportunity of working with Debbie I am sure you will come away with the same thoughts and feelings as I had. Seek her out and you'll be happy you did!. Good luck!
