Debbie is one of the most professional person that I have ever dealt with. She comes to you loaded for bear with her abundance of knowledge, she maintains a calm demeanor during some of the most difficult parts of negotiations for her clients with most of the time coming to positive outcomes for both the buyer and the seller. I met Debbie at the Del Mar Horse show and told her I needed to get my house sold. After we talked I signed the sellers contract with her and it was the best thing I did. Not only is she very professional, she is one of the hardest working realtors I have ever known. When I signed on with Debbie I did not realize she brought with her unlimited resources to get the house in better shape. This enables the house to go on the market at a premiere price. She also screens potential buyers very carefully so there is no time wasted. She also listened to my needs and bucket list as to the type of home a d property i wanted. Which i am in my new home thanks to her and able to bring my horses onto my own property. And, I thank her very much for all she has done for me. And the icing on the cake is that I have made a new and dear friend as well.

In a day and age where so many people just want to line their pockets, and during a period of our society where civility and kindness seem to have all but vanished, Debbie Lawes is the antidote. Her professionalism, expertise and character were bright lights in the bewildering darkness that besets any first-time home buyer because of their inexperience. She guided me through the often overwhelming process of buying my home, ceaselessly making sure that the numerous details needing to be addressed were done so in a painless manner, while always offering wise guidance on considerations that enabled me to see how the home would fit my needs. She tirelessly set up numerous home inspections, repairs, and evaluations while walking the high-wire tightrope involved in simultaneously representing both the seller and the buyer. She was meticulous with all the documents and maintained a Job-like patience when explaining each mysterious line of every daunting form. She was very efficient and organized, and provided highly regarded experts, where needed. I don’t know when (or if) she slept, since she was always available, covering every angle of my concerns till I was satisfied that I could move forward during each phase of the house buying process in a responsible manner. After I successfully purchased my home, to my great surprise, the “miracle of Debbie” continued, even though her legal obligation to assist me had expired. My new home needed some work but I was on the other side of the country, and unable to move in for a few weeks. So she selflessly arranged for whatever was needed and continued to be an amazing resource for everything else I had to know or do before moving in. She has been generous, well-motivated, kind and caring. A real star of a person and a rare human being! I was exceptionally lucky to run into her, and anyone, whether they are a first-time buyer or very experienced, would only benefit greatly to be under her wing.

If I were in Southern CA again, either to buy or sell again or even to find a rental property, Debbie would make it hard for me to want to work with any other agent! Long story short, I had a tenant in my home. She gave me the warm and fuzzies doing crazy things in contracts, like stating I'm allowed to back out at any time, to keep the language simple, just so we could all confirm that the tenant, myself, and my realtor, Debbie, all understood the ridiculous circumstance I put myself in. Additionally, she found my tenant a place to live, so the three of us (tenant, myself, and realtor) could move on with our lives. I can't state how much patience she had to tolerate my tenant, then me as I started to crumble as I needed to drop money into my home to sell, which was a foreseen event looking back at it, but one I couldn't avoid due to only getting VA loan approvals. (I, myself, bought the home with a VA loan, so I should have expected what the buyer's loan required.) In the my own panic, she managed to keep me calm and she ensured, although there were delays (some caused by me with panic/bills) that we knew couldn't be avoided, managed to push past everything. It might sound weird, but if I were to buy a home in CA, I'd hope I could leverage Debbie, as I know she would fight for me, as much as she fought for me as my seller's agent.

Great help in sorting out different neighborhoods and price ranges. Listened carefully to our likes and dislikes helping us to find an appropriate home in just a few days. We highly recommend Debbie.

Debbie is knowledgeable and professional. She's always understanding and available to help with experience of the whole process which made everything easier. She definitely knew the market too giving us clear expectations from the start. I'm not normally a person to give five stars but Debbie actually went above and beyond for us - she deserves them.
