Before her career in real estate, Deb spent two transformative years living in Africa, using her degree in nutrition to make a meaningful impact. Working alongside nurses, she visited rural hospitals to teach women about malaria prevention, hydration, and the importance of long-term breastfeeding for infant health. During that time, Deb learned enough of the language to communicate with the local community, gaining a profound appreciation for the strength and resilience of the human spirit. She returned to the states and continued her role as educator by becoming a teacher for the next 20 years.
