My husband and I recently sold our home & purchased a new home with the help of Dean and Brandi Melton (and their lovely team) – and we couldn’t have been more pleased. We have purchased and sold many homes over the decades and have experienced all ranges of “service” from awful to great. But this time the level of service we received was EXCEPTIONAL. And I mean that to the absolute definition of the word “…better than average; superior; unusually excellent; extraordinary…” So professional and competent. One of the most important things to me is COMMUNICATION and Dean nailed it! He responded promptly & if he was in a situation where he couldn’t respond immediately, he'd send a note explaining that he was in the middle of something and would call me at a specific time…and he ALWAYS did). His NEGOTIATION SKILLS were top notch. (And I'd like to add that we received significantly OVER the asking price on the sale of our home, due to how he marketed our property). He also went to bat for us for the extra things that were harder to negotiate and that weren’t strictly monetary. The next thing that impressed me was how he LISTENED & understood what we needed especially regarding certain details that were specific to our unique situation (dual residency tax concerns). Another benefit of working with The Meltons is their connections! They have connections for everything - which speaks volumes to how long they have been in the business & that so many other people/businesses trust them & want to hitch their trailers to this group. The last thing I want to add is that we made this purchase at a very busy time (both for us and for Dean) and no matter how busy Dean was I always felt like we were the most important thing on his agenda. Whether it was Dean, Brandi, Diana or anyone that we were dealing with it felt like we were working with a friend. It is really hard to keep it short with all the wonderful things they did that they should be applauded for.

My family had a great experience with Dean Melton and team. They communicate well with the seller with almost daily area listing emails which helped me understand how my home compared to similar ones on the market. The first step we took was a few face to face meetings (and home walk through) to discuss the market and current pricing treads. We discussed a listing price but decided it was best to take some early steps to actually prepare to my home for listing to get the maximum price possible in this slightly down market. Dean also offered a list of people and companies to help me prepare my home for listing. Once I moved out and listed my empty house we had numerous showings and the home sold within 2 weeks at a price which was on the upper end of our hopeful sale price. We were happy. Closing was quick and easy and money was transferred the same day. Dean and team are well known in The Woodlands market and I highly recommend them as a realestate agent firm. He'll represent you well.
