I have worked with my fair share of realtors. I have even had to fire a couple of them. They were perfectly nice people but not doing as good a job as I wanted for such a big decision. So when l say someone is a good realtor, I am not taken with sentimentality. Dawn Risner is an Amazing realtor. She is nice in the best sort of way as well. Someone who is willing to be harsh in order to help you make the best decision possible. During the hours and days Dawn drove me all over 2 states looking for my perfect home, she never once pushed me to make a decision. In fact when I did finally find one I liked she told me No. Because Dawn also really knows houses. She knew the basement had leakage problems and the cabinets though nice looking were sub standard, she knew a wall was bad and the porch had bad beams. When we found a house that seemed to fit everything I wanted but it just didn't thrill me , she also said no. This is not YOUR house. She was right and I was glad for her wisdom when I did eventually find the perfect house. After the sale when most realtors take their leave, I found out we had a big problem with the move date and our new house. Dawn swept in like superman and not only found us a place to stay, but brought movers herself. Then she came over after helping all day and helped me clean my house. Not because she had to or even should have. Because she saw I needed help and that is the sort of person she is. I consider myself blessed to have found her and I don't know where I would be without her. But it would certainly be much worse off then I am now. She is not just a super realtor, she is a super hero.
