Dawn was very friendly and easy to communicate with, when she wasn't in a meeting. (She attended what appeared to be many meetings.) She didn't have all the answers we needed, but did find a way to get them. She was honest in telling us she was new to the area. I had to contact the title company to try and move the closing date sooner, as we had a time line to fulfill. ( It didn't appear to be important to any one but us!!) The apparent holdup was the Estoppel Report, which should have been requested much sooner than it was. This was an all cash offer, and should not been this complicated. At the title company, the lady we dealt with had a "superior attitude" and was very difficult to deal with, had a very bad attitude as if we were 'bothering her" trying to get information. Also the wiring of money felt extremely different, as the money was being wired to a "Bank" not the title company directly. When I contacted the bank at the phone number provided, it had a recording that said "this branch phone number is temporarily disconnected". We were extremely hesitant to wire the money. (Who wouldn't be???) Again, had to deal with the Rude Title company lady to try and clarify exactly WHERE was our money being wired!!!! All in all, it wasn't the best experience. Im sure with more experience, Dawn will definitely succeed. But in my opinion, I would be looking for a new title company to deal with!!!
