Dawn is a motivated agent, however, she failed to honor her word regarding a comparatively small financial commitment she made to me at the end of the home selling process. Dawn was helping to handle help my search for a new home. We found a place in a nearby mobile home park. It required a background check and had very specific rules for their prospective residents. This requirement was not made known to me until AFTER I was asked to and did put down $2000 on a single-wide in the park. Now, to Dawn’s credit, when it was clear that the other agent was going to keep what they took from me, Dawn offered to reimburse me for half of that money from her own profit. Very kind, but I told her I couldn't let her do that and I would accept her offer to help me but that I would only accept $500 instead of $1000 when all was said and done. Well, I don't know what I did wrong, but in the end when I attempted contact with Dawn Carmo to take her up on her offer, she was unavailable. Additionally, she would not return calls or emails regarding the $500 and in the end I received nothing. If she did not intend on giving me any of the money she offered, it is my suggestion that she should not have made an offer in the first place. The home sold for much more than I paid for it so Dawn was paid well. Yet, she couldn’t follow through with her kind offer to displace the greedy action of another real estate agent with her own generous one. Bad form, Dawn Carmo, bad form.....
