Looking for a new home can be a very technical experience. There's a lot of considerations about investment, comparing properties, will this property go up in value in so many years, what's the neighborhood going to look like in ten years, is it near this place or that place, etc. One of the qualities I liked about David was his ability to bring some warmth into the equation. He always asked a simple question, "How do you feel about it?" That should have been my first question answered. I was reminded throughout the process to not forget the most important detail in choosing a new home, would I be happy living here. How did I feel about the space? Did it feel like home? Shifting my mind from thinking of it as a home rather than a property helped me select the right place, which I'm in now and very happy with no regrets about my decision.
We are not from the LA area, so searched for a realtor online reading many, many reviews. We chose David, and are so glad we did. From start to finish, he gave us topnotch service. He helped us put together a fabulous team from lender to title company. He has a solid, competitive (lender) group of people that he works with, which says something. Due to David's extensive experience in this business and in the area, we were able to secure a contract on the place we really wanted. It was his knowledge of how critical the timing needed to be that got our offer accepted. David was hands-on throughout the process. He checked in with us regularly and gave us solid guidance when we had questions or concerns. David didn't allow things to fall through the cracks. He would let us know (as we live out of country) if there was something he thought should be addressed and he followed through to make sure it happened. When we were ready for a final walk-thru of the property, David handled this for us and even took pictures and a video so we could see the property just before it was ready to be handed over. After closing, David followed up with us to see if he could assist with how to hook up the utilities. We could not have been happier with our choice in David. If we sell or buy property again in the area, David will be our only choice.
