We hit the jackpot - both the house AND the agent! My wife and I were first time buyers, complete novices; our first step was using the Realtor.com app. Via the app, we requested to schedule a viewing of a property that had caught our attention. That was when we won the agent lottery. You can do the same thing, press "request a viewing" and cross your fingers with who calls you back, OR you could give yourself a head start in the race and just call David. He organized that viewing, as well as several others, on a Saturday afternoon, because that was the most convenient day for us. He answered all of our questions honestly, as well as discussed our personal pros and cons of layouts or property locations. The real estate market is wild right now, and David was very candid about how swiftly things move. After a couple years of house hunting and realtor changes I was recommended David by a good friend of mine who's in the industry. I had my reservations being that the two had worked together in the past and the recommendation was simply a "reference for reference' scenario, but let me squash that right there. David was nothing short of phenomenal. Being this was my first home purchase I was skeptical and, can you imagine, unexperienced as to many of the red flags houses can have. I believe David showed me upwards of 10 properties and of course the last one was the winner. Throughout the entire process David was willing to meet me short notice( availability pending) and even get his hands dirty to dig a little deeper into home condition. I would NEVER expect a realtor to climb into the attic (sorry David but it's on your resume now) to check for obvious termite and/ or wood rot issues. That's simply not his job, but he went the extra mile to ensure I didn't get myself into a bad situation. If your unsure about a realtor do yourself a favor and give David a call.
