Dave Nelson is a knowledgeable professional with excellent knowledge of the market. The property went on the market just before two major forest fires south & west of Gardnerville enveloped the area in dense smoke. Dave advised that I take the property off of the market until the smoke cleared. I did this and re-listed my home when the fires were put down. Once back on the market, my home sold two days later at the original listing price. Great job.

Dave was diligent with the negotiations and never backed down. The buyer tried hard to nit pick on the inspection but to no avail. All major repairs had been done and he got the buyer to accept the rest.

Dave Nelson took over in March after another local realtor/management company had done almost nothing for six months. Our home was a rental to a Marine with PTSD and his family of five. They had planned to move to Idaho after the end of the school year but Dave was able to find a buyer within two days of taking over the listing for our full asking price with the closing three months into the future. Shortly after Dave made the sale the realtor/management company gave notice and quit leaving many loose ends including a leaking upstairs shower which we had to tear out and replace with tile, a dead lawn and many repairs which we had paid for, but which were never completed. As the end of the school year neared our tenant informed us that they would not be able to leave until the first or second week of June and not by the first as we had understood which was an inconvenience to the buyer, so Dave negotiated and we agreed to cover the buyer's rent through then end of June. Fortunately, the tenants vacated on June 15th leaving the house in need for sheetrock, plumbing and tile repairs as well as a exhaustive cleaning. Dave Nelson was able to assemble the needed contractors within days and the buyers closed escrow on June 14th. Dave Nelson showed the professionalism, levelheadedness and perseverance that our challenging sale required and we would recommend him to anyone.
