My initial inquiry with Laurie Chrispen and her team was back in February, before everything got crazy with the pandemic. My plan had been to sell one investment property and to purchase another in different state. Due to the many Covid-19 challenges, that goal became more difficult than anticipated. I needed to re-think my options and I had to put the brakes on for any sale. Laurie was understanding and flexible. She did not miss a beat and was able to help me through the various steps needed to sell and purchase a different property in California. Laurie was willing to walk and talk me through the loan process, she discussed the inspections needed to protect my interests, and to keep things flexible given the challenges of completing real estate transactions during this pandemic. She was, and still is, always available to answer the many questions I throw her way. She was also very patient with me when I needed some explanations repeated, so I really understood my rights and limitations. There came a point when I was frustrated with the disappointing appraisal results from the potential buyer’s appraiser, due to a lack of true “comparable” properties. Laurie volunteered to pay for a second appraisal out of her own pocket in order to reach an acceptable compromise and successfully finalize the sale November 4th. Laurie and her entire team were easy to work with and responsive. She has a list of tradespeople who can help with minor to major repairs in a timely manner. Laurie was also never offended if I chose to use my own person to complete any of the work that was needed. While this whole process was not simple, the final result is one that I am happy with and feel well-served by the Chrispen Team. I highly recommend Laurie Chrispen for your real estate needs.
