Wow, what can we say, but Dana is a fantastic realtor and a real pleasure to deal with, especially because Dana makes the sale seem so effortless, professional and the 'no pressure' approach was perfect for us! We are not from the area and I first reached out to Dana when I found him on Google for the Carlsbad/San Marcos suburbs of San Diego. The few times before we moved to the area, Dana picked me up and took me to a few houses that were for sale to get an idea of the different areas and types of homes and schools in the area because we were a family of 4 moving to Carlsbad/San Marcos. Once we found a home, we found that it was a real process at the time working with our bank because of the new federal regulations. Dana worked tirelessly throughout the escrow cycle to ensure all communications were strategically expressed to our selling realtor and sellers, kept the bank on point to ensure that we got our loan done in the time period required. The possession of the house was seamless and extremely well handled with Dana managing our house sale, especially since we were from out of the country and required Dana to answer a lot of questions about real estate purchasing not only in the USA, but in heavy regulated California! Dana got the job done with flying colors and all while our family all had smiles on our faces! Who we are: first time home buyers moving from the bay area to SD. We had very little idea of where in SD we wanted to move to. Our budget was between $500K-$700K (wide range). Dana gave us buyers access to MLS, which helped us hone our very wide search while we were still living several hundred miles away. He took us out to several neighborhoods to look at open houses and was patient when we decided to go in another direction. Where Dana really shines is in the offer/escrow stage. We felt like we had a strong "team captain" when it came time to putting in an offer and giving guidance on the entire escrow process. He was patient with our newbie questions and gave us confidence throughout the process. He religiously followed up with the other realtor and the other parties involved and made sure we knew if there was anything pending our action. We felt like he championed our interests and was readily available if we had questions. He has years of expertise, and we highly recommend him.

Dana is very professional and easy to work with. The property I purchased was a short sale and so that required a bit more paperwork and extra time waiting for the banks to approve. Everything went smoothly and I am happy to be in my new place now and enjoying every minute of it. I would highly recommend Dana for any real estate transactions.
