My wife and I needed to sell our home of 15 years--the first one we had ever purchased. We had no idea what we would need to do or anything about the market. We also needed to sell quickly, but still hit a target figure. Dan explained the entire process clearly and carefully. He followed up with us and seemed to have a preternatural intuition as to when we needed nudging. (In other words, he always had the right sense as to when to call/email/text us and when to give us time and space.) Dan was also able to help us with the "little but big" things--such as hiring a last-minute person to attend to some landscaping, securing a painter quickly for touch-ups, and finding movers at a reasonable price who could meet our particular needs (i.e., taking special care of our art and antiques). While my wife and I were often anxious during the months and weeks leading up to the sale, matters would have been exponentially worse without Dan. His calm and kind demeanor, combined with his wonderful sense of humor, helped alleviate stress and tension. Perhaps best of all, we sold our home "as is" to the second people who viewed it--and at a price just a few thousand dollars below asking.
