I know this is supposed to be about selling our house but our story is worth telling. So please read till the end. We walked into an open house with no intentions of buying due to thinking it wouldn’t be possible. We weren’t even in the market but my husband said let’s just look. We walked in and the house was everything we wanted and needed in a home. We fell in love! Corey was the realtor on site and was so personable and answered all our questions. We took the steps right then to start the process. First, we had to sell our home to be able to buy. That terrified me. Corey came over right away and helped us prepare our home to sell. We had to act fast to ensure the property we wanted to buy would not get sold. So we did! We had a potential buyer off market that same evening. Then another the very next day. They loved the house and put an offer in. Corey ensured to communicate promptly no matter the time or the day. He had big shoes to fill with representing both the seller and us the buyer. He was very open and honest. He ensured both sides were able to get the best possible outcome. The process was so smooth and stress free. I was amazed due to remembering how I felt buying our first home. You hear horror stories about selling, so I was beyond grateful. Not to mention from the time we went to the open house to getting our keys was 30 days! That in itself blew me away! Cory was great start to finish! We have bought a lot of homes over the years and have had our fair share of agents. What we really liked about Cory was that he wasn’t pushy and let us tell him what we wanted while offering other prospectives on the home buying process when appropriate. He asked us our home buying experience upfront and matched his approach to our experience level. He was also transparent and I didn’t feel like he was in it for himself which I have had that feeling with previous agents I have worked with. He went out of his way to show us homes we were interested in and talked us through the pros and cons of each home for this location.
