Connie came into our lives at a stressful time. I'd just gotten a job offer at a major Brevard County employer, and my wife was 4 months pregnant. We started with a broad search of the county and a range of homes and prices. Connie wanted us to understand all of the possibilities. She didn't lead us in any direction, and no matter the house, was unfailingly joyful, knowledgable and upbeat. She worked nights, weekends, whatever fit our tight schedule. Just when we thought our search might go on indefinitely, we found a house in a wonderful neighborhood that fit our needs, and Connie was happy for us. The negotiation was touchy because the seller was not a reliable negotiator. She stayed on his Realtor to make sure that we got answers and things advanced to closing. When we were faced with contracting home inspectors in a county we don't know, she gave us a list of outfits she'd worked with before while being VERY careful not to make a recommendation or lead us to pick one over another. She then showed up at the end of the inspection we couldn't attend in order to be our advocates and call us with the findings. At the last minute, just before closing, she found a $150 credit missing from the ledger! My wife is now 7 months pregnant, we're in our home and "nesting," and we couldn't be happier. It's almost a shame home buying isn't a regular thing so we could deal with Connie again soon.
