Five Stars Are Not Enough!
This was my second time at selling a house. And, thanks to the skills, experience, and enthusiasm Ms. Hartke brought, I quickly found my fears unwarranted. This was so much better than my previous experience! I have to say that she brought an air of calm and certainty to a very unpleasant situation as my sale was of a forced nature. She went top to bottom in getting my house ready for sale. And, in recommending an asking price, gave her justifications for it. As a result, I fully agreed. Now, my townhouse was far from the million-dollar to multi-million dollar properties which I'm sure she routinely represents. However, I feel that the service which I received was exactly like what she provides her clients with those properties. My property had its first day of showings on a Sunday. By Monday night, I had a firm offer at the asking price! I was away on business when the offer came through. And, the message was waiting for me when I returned from the pool! Ms. Hartke FAX'ed the documents to me at the hotel the next morning and by 10 AM Tuesday, my house was officially sold! While Ms. Hartke's has many professional strengths, her abilities as a communicator should be taken advantage of! I got to see this for myself when I was confronted by parties opposed to the sale of my house while she was present. In addition to not considering any agent other than Ms. Hartke, my advice to her future clients is to listen to her advice. And, act on that advice. In the most significant example, she suggested that I use her firm's "in house" settlement group, MBH. And, one particular attorney (Ms. Colleen Sweeney) to represent my interests at closing. Between, the two of them, several "gotchas" were found that would've been to my determent. And, by doing the closing this way, it took me longer to type about it than it was to go through the process.
In closing, I have to give Ms. Connie Hartke my highest professional recommendation to be your agent.
