My Fiancé and I ran into Colleen by chance. We had just starting looking for our first home and noticed an open house sign so we decided to check it out. The house wasn't specifically what we were looking for, but lucky for us we met Colleen. We exchanged contact info and went on our way. A few months pasted and our savings grew - it was time to get serious about buying our first home so we reached out to Colleen. From the first house we toured to the last, Colleen far exceeded our expectations. Her detailed understanding and expertise of the housing market/business paired with fantastic communication skills, quickly settled any nerves we had about making such a large financial decision. Colleen has also gathered a network of top-notch contacts for services related to purchasing a home (for repairs & maintenance too). The inspector she recommended provided a detailed report on not one, but two homes. The first inspection report and guidance from Colleen helped us make the difficult, but correct decision to talk away from our first offer. It was clear that Colleen wasn't pushing us to close - she wanted what was best for us. After 10+ home tours, we put in our second offer. This house just hit the market and we were the first to tour. We told Colleen we wanted to put in an offer and like before, her guidance secured the home as the seller quickly accepted. Paper work and closing documents quickly followed a positive home inspection. Personally, this stage was what I was most stressed and anxious about. Colleen walked us through the details, making it easier than I thought. It was nice knowing that Colleen was on our side and had our backs all the way to signing the closing paperwork We don't plan on buying/selling anytime soon, but if we did Colleen would be our first choice. We are so thankful we met Colleen at an open house. Her drive to find us the perfect house is exactly what we needed. She was very attentive and patient. Colleen helped us better understand the house buying process as this was our first home. If she didn’t have an answer for us, she was quick and eager to get us the answer we needed. When we wanted to see a list of houses, Colleen made it happen that day or the next to accommodate our schedule. She has the resources needed to complete the buying process quickly and efficiently. We listed in early April as lots of Covid rules were in place. Colleen was very flexible and understanding while we found creative ways to photograph and give tours of the house before we moved out.

Colleen went above and beyond for us. In the beginning we sold our condo. With Covid many challenges came, but working with Colleen was an example of not just a great professional for her area of expertise, but a great human being. In a year where you see the worst of people, Colleen was the exact opposite of that. Furthermore, We were defeated in the bidding of our house initially, but Colleen encouraged us to send a last minute letter to the seller before the sale finalized. Had we not done that, we would have lost the house. We then had to hurdle many challenges with several bad water tests in which Colleen personally took care of items on her OWN time.
