I found out my landlord decided to sell while the market was hot 2 months before my lease was up and school was starting… to say the least, I was so stressed out! I met Christy Schmaedeke when I called to look at a house she was showing.When she learned of my predicament, she swung into action. She started lining up every house that could possibly work and dragging my sulking pessimistic self from house to house until we found the perfect fit. I’m a single mom & ER nurse working 12 hr nights so my schedule is horrible, but Christy made it work and never gave up. The actual buying process was kind of a nightmare but Christy was right there by my side knocking down obstacles and making things happen. 2 days before close I got another hard stop asking me for documents I would of had to drive 2 hours to get. When I told Christy, she worked her magic and was able to take care of that too in a matter of minutes. Christy ALWAYS had my best interest at heart and through this process became a trusted friend. She’s more like your full package house buying guru than just your Realtor! I can’t say enough about this woman who took my impossible situation and made it into a wonderful experience even getting it all finished in that 2 months and before school started- you just cannot go wrong with Christy. As I was signing the papers with the banker, I mentioned how wonderful she’d been and his response was “yeah, she’s a bull dog that doesn’t give up and always gets it done.” I’d agree and am so thankful I stumbled on her that day and had her in my corner!
