The listing agent contacted me.when I initially spoked to her I expressed my concerns.Because at the time the value of the home was way less than I paid for it I was somewhat apprehensive.I was newly laid off my job didn’t have a lot of money, the mortgage was reaffirmed I was separated now divorced living in another state and recently had surgery. My funds was very limited. But she assured me that she could help me. I got the impression she was very charismatic caring and willing to help. She advised me I needed some work done plus some repairs. So my daughter lived in Virginia had the carpet professionally cleaned ,replaced flooring, painted and several small repairs.I expressed to her that I at least would like to gain enough money out of the sell to pay my daughter for the work her and her husband done. I had to have the lights turned back on and have a stove their on the property. I also had to continue to pay the HOA’s which was over $300.00 a month. Yet trying to work with little finances. She advised me that the property wouldn’t take long to sell. So I was overjoyed. One month turned into several. I started receiving less and less communication. After several closings fell through. She winded up having to re list the property for more money. So she finally found a commitment buyer after several months with very little communication. I was provided closing title paperwork with about 3 thousand dollars in fees that I would have to pay. Which I had no knowledge of that. When the closing was supposed to happen i advised it would be another 3 thousand dollars of which I wasn’t equipped to pay. So the young lad said to me she would rework some figures. Mind you I hadn’t heard anything from my realtors office. At that point I didn’t hear anything from her at all. Until after I received a email stating I needed to sign an addendum. Then the closing came without my knowledge. I received a email about the sale. I haven’t heard anything else from that office since.
