We came from the west coast to the Athens area in hopes of finding a quiet little home where we could start a garden. When we arrived we didn’t know a soul and felt pretty vulnerable. Fortunately, we found the perfect home within a few days, at which point we sought someone to show it to us. We chose Christi’s name from a list of top realtors we had collected over a year before. We knew she was popular and we weren’t sure she would have time for us and our modest transaction. To our surprise and delight, Christi responded rapidly and warmly to our request and she was available to show us the house within hours of our first contact. We decided to put in an offer right away, and she wasted no time preparing it for us. It was touch and go at first as we were competing against two other buyers, but with Christi guiding us through the negotiations we were able to win the contract. Going forward, her rapid response time, keen attention to detail and consistent professionalism made us feel safe throughout the process. Furthermore, as a native, Christi is a terrific ambassador for Athens and the surrounding area. She is knowledgeable about local history and just about anything anyone would like to know. We were lucky to have Christi as our agent and now we consider her a friend.
Christi’s background coming from a family of builders gives her the knowledge and vision to foresee potential damages and costs to any home that is seen, it's like you’re getting a free home inspection with every viewing. Her bluntness with viewing homes was greatly appreciated by me, if she thinks a house is going to be a costly investment, she’ll let you know but she won’t twist your arm in making a decision. Throughout the entire process she was constantly educating me on practical home-owning tips and how-to’s which as a first time home buyer was useful and will end up saving me time and money in the future. Christi was always prompt with replying to emails, texts, and phone calls so settings up a schedule was relatively painless. As long as you’re putting in the effort on your end of the home-buying process, she’ll definitely put in hers and the whole experience will go by as smoothly as possible. Christi is amazing. She made, what I’m sure is usually an inconvenient an unpleasant life experience (at best), to an incredible event that was beyond what we expected. Christi’s knowledge of the real estate market is second to none. She was always available when we needed something or had a question. We had a great time with Christi helping us all along the way! We have worked with her in the past to buy our first house back in 2019 and knew we wanted to work with her again for our newest purchase.
